Zantedeschia aethiopica is the classic white calla, native to South Africa, with vase-shaped flowers from mid through late summer. Beyond cutting, it adapts to borders, water edge and shallow pond pots.
Give good drainage and 12 to 18 inches of room in borders. Foliage and bloom are critter resistant.
