Annabelle is a Hydrangea arborescens with coarse heart-shaped leaves. Creamy-white clusters reach 6-8 inches and stand out like soft balls.
Plants bloom June to frost. In the north it takes full sun, elsewhere give dappled shade and shelter from hot afternoon sun and extreme weather. Support stems after heavy rain when large heads load branches.
