This Burpee butterfly milkweed forms crown-shaped vividly orange flowers in clusters up to 2 in. across, followed in fall by upright pods that crack open to release seeds with silky hairs.
Easy to grow for meadows and wildflower gardens, it also makes lovely cut flowers and dried pods for arrangements.
