Costa Rican Sweet comes from breeding in Central America. The fruit grows shorter in length and wider through the shoulder than a classic Marconi, maturing about 6 inches long.
Pick when the skin turns deep ruby red for full fruity sweetness. Slice for salads and dip, or roast and grill.
