Blue Lake 274 is an heirloom snap bean, also called a green bean, eaten pod and all. It produces a large crop of round pods up to 6 inches long on bushy plants that reach 16 to 18 inches tall.
Young pods are stringless and have excellent flavour, with a texture that suits fresh eating or freezing. The compact plants also grow well in containers.
