Description
'Danvers 126' carrot comes from late-19th century growers in Danvers, Massachusetts seeking better color, yield and uniformity. It has a noticeably sweeter flavor and high fiber content.
Roots grow well interplanted with onions and in heavy soils. The type stays heat tolerant, resists cracks and splits, and stores exceptionally well when cleaned after harvest.
