Nootka Rose is a softneck garlic from the San Juan Islands. It forms medium to large crystal-white bulbs with red-streaked clove wrappers and 12-20 strongly flavored cloves.
Plant the cloves in fall for a mid- to late harvest. It suits southern gardens and makes attractive braids.
