Description
Sugar Apple, also called sweetsop, is Annona squamosa, a tropical fruit tree with green, textured fruit and creamy flesh that tastes like vanilla custard with a hint of pineapple.
Grow it in full sun and well-draining soil outdoors in zones 9–11. In cooler regions, it can be grown in a container and moved indoors when temperatures drop. Its small fragrant flowers attract bees and other beneficial pollinators.
