Sugar Daddy is a snap pea variety bred by Dr. Calvin Lamborn from Sugar Snap, selected for stringless pods, shorter vines, and improved disease resistance. Slender 3" pods have a deep green color.
Plants reach only 24"-30" tall and do not need support, though a short fence or trellis eases harvest. Serve pods fresh with dip, in salads, stir-fries and soups, or steamed. Resistant to powdery mildew and tolerant to bean leaf roll virus.
