Sweet Banana is a Hungarian heirloom from 1941 and a 1941 All-America Selections winner. Fruits are very long, bright yellow, and thick-walled, turning orange-red if left on the plant.
Eat fresh as a snack or in salads, grill, or pickle. A good short-season choice that succeeds in containers in full sun.
