Sugar Magnolia is an open-pollinated snap pea with purple flowers and tender, fine-flavored edible pods. Some pods may be speckled with green or fully green.
Plants vine 6 to 7 feet with vigorous multi-branching hypertendrils that add support and form an airy structure. That open habit helps prevent mildew. It is frost tolerant and grows in full sun.
