Fenugreek is an erect annual herb to 24 inches grown for tender leaves and dried seed pods. Sow 1/4 inch deep outdoors around last frost, spacing 4-6 inches apart; soaking seed overnight aids starting.
Seed sprouts in 5-7 days at 60-65ºF. Direct sowing is preferred since roots dislike disturbance.
