Description
Frisee Endive produces bushy heads of finely cut, narrow leaves for salads, wilted greens or sautéing. It grows best in spring and fall when temperatures stay below 70°F; tying the head 5–7 days before harvest blanches the center heart to a creamy color and softer texture. Sow every 2–3 weeks for a longer harvest period.
