Galeux D'Eysines is a French heirloom Cucurbita maxima winter squash for the fall holiday season. Flattened fruits reach 10-15 pounds with peachy skin covered in beige warts and brilliant orange, sweet, smooth, non-stringy flesh.
Sow 1/2-1 inch deep after the last frost when soil is over 70ºF. Sprouts in 7-10 days at 70-85ºF. Start indoors 3-4 weeks early in biodegradable pots or sow outdoors every 36-48 inches. One packet plants a 12-15 foot row.
