Description
Gold Nugget Tomato is an open-pollinated cherry type bred by Dr. James Baggett at Oregon State. It makes 1-inch golden fruit with few seeds and Yellow Pear-like flavor on fairly compact indeterminate plants.
Sow 1/4 inch deep indoors 6 weeks before last frost at 75-80ºF. Sprouts in 7-14 days. Thin to the strongest seedling per cell, feed lightly, then plant outside after frost 24-36 inches apart in fertile, composted soil. Packet holds 25 seeds.
