Description
Hopi Blue Dent Corn is a royal-blue heirloom variety with bushy plants reaching about 5 feet and ears measuring 8–10 inches. Pick the ears young for sweet corn, or let them dry for meal, tortillas, bread and ornamental use.
Sow after the last frost once the soil reaches at least 60°F. Planting in blocks supports wind pollination, while young ears are ready about 2½–3 weeks after the silks appear.
