Description
Jade is a bush bean with lush green, stringless pods that keep color and flavor whether picked young or full. The strong, erect plants usually stand without staking.
Sow 1 inch deep outdoors after the last frost when soil tops 60ºF, spacing seeds 2-3 inches apart. Germination takes 4-10 days at 70-85ºF. One ounce sows a 25-foot single row and holds about 100-120 seeds. Pick every 2-3 days before seeds bulge.
