Jackson Wonder is a bush lima introduced in the late 1800s for high yield without support. Sow 1 inch deep, 2 to 3 inches apart outside after frost in warm soil. Sprouts in 4 to 10 days.
One packet plants an 8- to 12-foot row. Use plump pods for shell beans or leave for dried beans, and give even moisture at flowering.
