Description
Korist kohlrabi has a crisp texture and mild sweetness similar to a broccoli stem. Its white, flat-globe bulbs can be harvested young or allowed to size up while remaining tender, and the variety has good resistance to downy mildew.
Sow outdoors in cool spring soil or in mid to late summer for a fall crop. Keep the plants evenly watered and amend fertile soil with compost; summer heat can make the bulbs woody and dry.
