Description
Lemon Gem Marigold (Tagetes tenuifolia) forms a mounded plant with petite single flowers above soft, lacy foliage. The blooms have a citrusy scent, attract beneficial insects and can be used as edible petals in salads and other dishes.
Sow on the surface and lightly cover, either indoors 4–8 weeks before the last frost or outdoors from shortly before the last frost into early summer. Pinch young plants for bushier growth and deadhead to prolong flowering.
