Description
Persian Carpet Zinnia is an annual with bushy, branching plants that reach 12–15 inches tall. Its 2-inch flowers range from cream and yellow to deep mahogany, with pointed petals and crested centers; blooms may be single or fully double. Sow the seeds indoors 4–6 weeks before the last frost or directly outdoors after the soil reaches 70°F, lightly covering them and spacing plants 8–12 inches apart. Flowers usually open 75–80 days after sowing.
