Striata D'Italia is an Italian heirloom summer squash, Cucurbita pepo, cylindrical with a slight taper and thin mottled light and dark green skin.
Sow 1/2-1 in. deep. Sprouts in 4-10 days at 70-85ºF soil. Sow outdoors after the last frost every 36-48 in., and pick a few times a week starting at 3-4 in.
