Description
Summertime was bred at Oregon State to mature as a firm head in summer heat. Plant 1/4 inch deep with 8-12 inches between plants, and seedlings emerge in 4-10 days.
Because soil above 70 F slows germination, sow spring sowings early and water evenly. Cut whole heads or pick outer leaves, and resow every 2-3 weeks for steady supply.
