Yellow Torch is Tithonia speciosa, the first yellow tithonia from seed. Golden petals on branching upright plants reach 4-6 ft and keep opening new flowers until frost.
Sow on the surface, as seed needs light to sprout. Start indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Seed sprouts in 7-14 days at 70-80ºF. Plant outside after frost, 12-24" apart.
