Description
Colchicum cilicicum produces cup-shaped flowers on bare stems in mid to late autumn. Its foliage, which resembles hosta leaves, appears in spring, creating a seasonal sequence without flowers and leaves at the same time.
The bulbs prefer rich, well-drained soil from partial shade to full sun. They can flower without being planted in soil, and the plants become stronger each year.
