Description
Colchicum Giant, often called Autumn Crocus, makes cup-shaped flowers on naked stems. Flowers open in mid to late fall, while foliage that looks like hosta leaves comes in spring.
Give rich, well-drained soil in partial shade to full sun. Bulbs can bloom without being planted in soil, and plantings get better each year.
