Red Ball is a classic Burpee-bred beet with uniform 3-inch roots and smooth deep red skin. Proven for productivity, flavor and wide adaptability.
Grows best in cool weather and full sun. Mix seeds with fast-sprouting radish seeds to mark rows. Picking baby beets for eating helps the remaining beets grow better.
