Blossom is a robust Turban hardneck garlic bred for color and flavor. Large, plump bulbs wear violet-streaked wrappers and typically hold 8-10 fat cloves with a smooth, easy peel.
Raw cloves bring classic sharpness, while roasting turns them sweet and velvety. One of the earliest garlics to mature, it suits southern growers harvesting before summer heat; it makes weak scapes and smaller bulbs in northern climates. Stores about 6-7 months.
Garlic preorders are sold out, with more coming in late September or October. Garlic cannot ship to Idaho, Hawaii, or Adams, Benton, Franklin, Grant and Klickitat counties in Washington.
