Sundial Lupine, also called old maid's bonnet and wild lupine, is an heirloom native to the eastern half of the United States. Its blue flowers suit wildflower gardens and mass plantings.
The plant serves as a host plant for Elf butterfly larvae and Karner blue butterfly larvae, and its flowers attract pollinators.
