Carpet Mix cosmos is a dwarf Cosmos sulphureus mix bred for the front of the garden at only about a foot tall. Semi-double blooms measure about 1-1/2 inches in vibrant single shades of lemon, orange, and red.
Start indoors before the last frost or direct sow after frost, then thin to final spacing. Give full sun and poor to average well-drained soil; rich soil grows leaves over flowers. Deadhead to extend bloom.
