Description
Chocolate Sunflower produces deep, dark heads on branching plants that reach about 60 inches tall. The flowers suit cut arrangements and beds, and they attract pollinators during the growing season.
Sow outdoors after the last frost in loose, rich, well-drained soil, or start indoors 4–6 weeks before planting out. Space plants 18–24 inches apart and provide full sun; successive sowings can extend the bloom period.
