Description
Double Gold is a vigorous raspberry that produces firm, juicy, sweet berries with a peachy, blushed-champagne colour. It can fruit on floricanes in summer and primocanes in fall, and the berries store exceptionally well in the freezer. The plants show resistance to Phytophthora root rot and common leaf diseases.
Plant the bare-root canes in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun, 18–36 inches apart with 6–8 feet between rows. Water well while they establish and mulch around the young roots to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
