Nova Raspberry produces medium to large, firm, bright red berries that ripen gradually. Its upright canes have minimal thorns and good disease resistance; the variety can fruit as a summer bearer in northern areas or a fall bearer in southern areas.
Plant the bare roots in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun, spacing canes 18–36 inches apart with 6–8 feet between rows. Water well while the plants establish and mulch around the young roots to hold moisture and reduce weeds.
