Imperial Mix Scabiosa is an annual pincushion flower with tufted layered petals forming spheres on upright branching stems 30-40 inches tall. Sow on the surface, as seed needs light, a few seeds every 2-4 inches, thin to 8-12 inches apart.
Seed sprouts in 10-21 days in 65-70F soil. Set plants outside after the last frost in full sun, and cut regularly for continuous bloom into fall, about 90-100 days from seed.
