Merveille De Quatre Saisons forms a loose 12-inch head with wavy light-green leaves blushed red. Sow 1/4 inch deep when soil reaches at least 50ºF, 1 inch apart, then thin to 6-12 inches. Sprouts in 4-10 days at 60-70ºF.
Snip outer leaves or cut whole heads at the base, and repeat sowing every 2-3 weeks. Grows best in fertile, evenly moist soil with compost worked in.
