Description
Miners Lettuce-Claytonia is Claytonia perfoliata with round, fleshy leaves high in vitamin C. Leaves are cut once plants branch and can self-sow if left to flower.
Sow 1/4 inch deep, 1 inch apart, then thin to 4-6 inches apart in fertile, well-drained soil. Sprouts in 4-14 days at 55-60ºF. Sow outdoors spring through late summer and keep evenly moist, since it prefers cooler spring and fall temperatures.
