New Day Mix is a gazania series bred for larger flowers, shorter stems and sturdier, beefier plants. The compact mounds reach about 10 inches tall and suit containers, baskets, edging and groundcover.
Sow 1/8 inch deep in 65-70ºF soil. Sprouts come in 7-20 days. Start indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost and set out 6-8 inches apart after frost, or direct sow after frost where seasons run long. Blooms arrive in 95-105 days. Each packet holds 20 seeds.
