Pampas Plume, Celosia argentea plumosa, forms upright branching plants with feathery heads in scarlet rose, carmine, gold, cream and bronze. Stems hold well fresh and dried.
Press seed on the surface, as light aids germination, and keep soil at 70-75°F. Sprouts appear in 15-21 days. Start indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost and set out after frost in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil.
