Pinetree Lettuce Mix blends over a half dozen loose-leaf, butterhead, and romaine types in varied colors and textures. The 1/2 ounce packet holds about 15,000 seeds.
Place seeds 1/4 inch deep. Germination runs 4-10 days in 60-70ºF soil. Sow outdoors when soil reaches 50ºF, 1 inch apart, then thin to 6-12 inches for heads. For baby greens sow 50-60 seeds per foot and cut at 3-4 inches, repeating every 14 days.
