Purple Beauty pepper is an open-pollinated sweet bell with thick walls and a deep midnight eggplant-purple color at maturity. Compact plants set fruit in the crown and on limbs.
Sow 1/4 inch deep indoors 8 to 10 weeks before the last frost at 75 to 85ºF. Sprouts in 10 to 14 days. Move outside after frost, spacing plants 18 to 24 inches apart.
