Description
Purple Ruffles Basil is an All-America Selections winner with deeply colored leaves, pink flower spikes and an upright, branching habit. Its leaves work in cooking, garnishes and herbal vinegar, while the flowers attract pollinators and beneficial insects.
Sow on the soil surface and lightly cover, starting indoors 4–8 weeks before the last frost or directly outdoors after frost. Harvest leaves when plants reach 6–8 inches, picking often to encourage continued growth.
