Rainbow Mix coleus, Solenostemon scutellarioides, covers the full color band from cream to deep scarlet. Plants reach 12 to 14 inches high and suit borders, beds and containers as houseplants.
Sow on the surface, since seed needs light to sprout. Sprout takes 10 to 15 days at 70 to 75ºF soil. Start indoors 8 to 12 weeks before the last frost and plant outside after frost, 8 to 12 inches apart in part sun to shade. Packet holds 100 seeds.
