Red Gruner is a cultivated purslane with upright red-toned stems and large, soft, fleshy green leaves. Flavor is juicy and lightly citric, quite different from low weedy types.
Sow 1/4 inch deep after last frost, 1 inch apart, then thin to 6-8 inches. Seeds sprout in 4-14 days at 75-85ºF. Pick leaves as needed and plants keep producing. This packet holds 200 seeds.
