Sweet Mama is an F1 hybrid buttercup winter squash bearing dark-green fruit with sweet, dry yellow flesh on semi-bush vines. Sow 1/2-1 inch deep outdoors after the last frost when soil is over 70ºF, a few seeds every 36-48 inches, or start indoors 3-4 weeks before the last frost. Sprout takes 7-10 days in 70-85ºF soil, with harvest in about 85 days before heavy frost.
