Calabrese is an heirloom broccoli variety introduced around 1910. Tall, erect 30 to 36-inch plants form dark bluish-green central heads about 5 inches across.
Once the central head is cut, plants give multiple side shoots. Harvest 60 to 90 days after transplant.
