Description
Finocchio fennel, also called Florence fennel, is a heirloom herb grown for its bulb, leaves, and seed. Feathery leaves look attractive in the garden.
Grow in full sun. Eat the bulb raw, in soups and pasta, deep-fried, or sauteed for gravy, use the leaves fresh with fish, chicken, tomatoes, and sauces, and harvest the seed as a spice.
