Description
Aconcagua is an Argentinian heirloom sweet pepper maturing around 75 days. Vigorous plants near 3 feet bear heavy sets of long fruit close to a foot in length, ripening green to orange to red with sweet flavor at every stage.
Sow 1/4 inch deep indoors 8-10 weeks before last frost at 75-85F. Sprouts in 10-14 days. Transplant after frost 18-24 inches apart in fertile soil. Support tall plants and cut ripe fruit with a sharp tool to keep the harvest coming.
