Description
California Wonder is an open-pollinated sweet pepper with very large fruit measuring 4 inches square or more. Peppers begin deep green and turn crimson when fully mature. Start seeds indoors 8–10 weeks before the last frost at warm soil temperatures, then transplant after frost with 18–24 inches between plants. Harvest with a sharp knife when fruits reach usable size, leaving some on the plant to ripen and sweeten.
