Country Gentleman corn reaches 6 to 7 feet and often sets 3 ears per stalk, holding sweet flavor longer after picking. Sow 1 inch deep, 4 to 6 inches apart, thin to 10 to 12 inches apart, in blocks of 4 rows spaced 24 to 36 inches.
Seed sprouts in 7 to 14 days in 60 to 85-degree soil. Plant outside after frost when soil is at least 60 degrees; this packet plants a 15 to 20-foot row.
