Description
Golden Self Blanching Celery is a pre-1885 heirloom that develops yellowish-gold stalks by fall without the usual blanching work. Plants grow close to 2 feet tall, with excellent flavor and texture.
Start seeds indoors 10–12 weeks before the last frost, sowing 1/8–1/4 inch deep and keeping the soil moist. Transplant after the last frost, then maintain fertile soil and consistent moisture through the long growing season.
